Danish Scandinavian Christmas Bottle
Traditional Danish Christmas bottle design for the year 1999. Comes in original box and little booklet.
I'm Danish, ask me questions. Yes you can put Gammel Dansk (liquor) in it but as long as it has some "kick" to it, you can pour it in the bottle!
On the side of the bottle are 24 lines, marking each day of December. The Christmas bottle can then be used as an alternative Christmas calendar for adults.
The motif on this 1999 Danish Christmas bottle depicts an orangery which is a decorative glass pavilion used as shelter for plants and tress but can also function as a distinguished garden workshop.
According to French tradition, these pavilions were used to let orange trees winter in.
